• About This Series

Hosea 4:12 reminds us that “the spirit of whoredoms hath caused them to err,” meaning to go wrong or stray, “and they have gone a whoring from under their God.”

The Spirit of Whoredoms Bible Study Series is a Scripture-centered, research-informed journey that helps women recognize and break free from the spiritual, emotional, and cultural influences that distort God's design for identity, relationships, self-worth, and womanhood. This study is not about condemning women, it is about leading them toward healing and freedom in Christ.

Across nine sessions, participants explore how the biblical warning about the spirit of whoredoms (Hosea 4:12) remains relevant in today's culture. Each lesson combines biblical truth with insights from research and real-life examples to reveal how culture shapes beliefs, relationships, and decision-making.

Rather than focusing only on outward behavior, this series addresses the deeper heart issues behind brokenness, unhealthy attachments, shame, rejection, people-pleasing, and the search for validation. Every session points to the hope, forgiveness, restoration, and lasting identity found in Jesus Christ.

Series Primary Hosea 4:12, Scripture declares:

“…for the spirit of whoredoms hath caused them to err, and they have gone a whoring from under their God.”
